Survey - Dreaming and Praying

Dreaming and Praying

A dreaming opportunity for a new chapter

Thank you for joining in with a season of dreaming for the future together this Lent! Here is a chance for you to step back, listen to what you feel might be on God’s heart for us, and offer your thoughts in this new season. We are doing this in an atmosphere of prayer, together.

The church has a long history of listening to God, and there was a lot of dreaming and thinking in the last few years, and when the new vicar roles were being advertised for…
But it’s helpful to listen as we set out with new leaders, and Lent is always a good time for taking stock – this is a kind of spiritual exercise for the whole church.

As easy as possible

There are only a few questions here. We have tried to set it so it’s fairly accessible, and limit it so there isn’t too much information to process at the end. We are thinking about 30 minutes to an hour. It’s not necessary either to answer every question – only the ones you would like to. It should hopefully not be too onerous, or take too long. A summary of the dreams will be fed back to everyone, and help the church leadership listen to God for future plans…

Everyone’s voice matters

You don’t have to be any kind of expert to do this. You might be new to the church, or have been here a while…Everyone’s dreams count – they are all part of the way we listen for how God is leading us. There is no wrong answer! It isn’t anonymous, but only Guy and Ruth will be collecting together the information.  If there is something you would like to share more personally, please do get in touch for a chat.

Please pray as you can before filling it in, and as you fill it in. You might like to do it on your own, or discuss it with others.

The Survey

The survey will open on February 15th.
