The Winder Lecture

In the year 1647 Thomas Winder, citizen, and grocer of London, instigated a sermon to be preached at the church of St Michael the Archangel on the Sunday nearest to Guy Fawkes Day.  
Every year we invite an eminent speaker to address an area of contemporary concern, past speakers include:

2017 - Revd David Bookless spoke on "Is there any good news for our environment."
2016 - Dr Geoff Lloyd spoke to us on "Who is my neighbour?"
2015 - Cllr Chris Turrell spoke to us on Developing Communities

2013 - The Right Revd John Pritchard the then Bishop of Oxford.  

2012 - Ken Costa a city analyst and former director of one of our largest banking groups.
