Welcome to the Bracknell Repair Café
A new Repair Café is opening in Bracknell at St. Andrew’s Church in Priestwood.
The Bracknell Repair Café is a place where clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, and toys can be repaired by volunteers and you working together.
We meet on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Our next opening for local residents will be on 7 November.
The Bracknell Repair Café is both a community service and an opportunity for our volunteers to help others and share their knowledge. There is no charge for repairs, although customers may need to provide parts where required, and we accept donations to help with running costs.
The Bracknell Repair Café is an independent charity (No. 1220086).

The Repair Café initiative started in the Netherlands in 2009, and there are now over 2,500 Repair Cafes worldwide, with about 450 in the UK.
The Bracknell Repair Café uses local volunteers.
We have recruited a good number of local volunteer fixers who can repair small domestic electrical and mechanical items such as Kettles, Coffee Makers, Vacuum Cleaners, Lamps, Sewing Machines, Record Players, Bikes and Furniture etc as well as fixers who can repair textiles, clothes and soft toys.
We are also using local volunteers to help keep the welcoming, front of house, and café running smoothly.

We ask visitors to be patient in these early months as we get the café up and running and continue to develop our processes.
We can help with Textiles, Electrical and Electronic Items, Toys, Bicycles and Computers.
We cannot help with Petrol- and Gas-powered appliances, Large white goods, Microwaves, Medical devices, Knives or blades, Items that are too big or heavy to be carried by a single person, Soiled, contaminated or toxic items or any other items that could pose a serious risk to volunteers – assessed on arrival.
