APCM 2024

Tuesday 14th May at St Michael's at 7.30pm

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is an important point in the year when we can give thanks for all that we have seen God do amongst us in the past year, and look forward to the coming year.

It must happen in every parish before 31st May each year. The meeting formally receives the accounts from the previous year, and a report from the Parochial Church Council (PCC) on lots of different aspects of church life over the past year. At the meeting we also elect people to the PCC and to Deanery Synod, and we have vacancies on both these teams this year.

You can find the Annual Report here.

Anyone who is on the Electoral Roll of the church is entitled to attend and participate at the APCM, along with clergy who live in the parish or regularly worship in the parish.

There is a document below, "Introduction to PCC and Deanery Synod", which gives you lots of information about the PCC, what it is, what it does etc.
Nomination forms for election as a member of the PCC or the Deanery Synod can also be found below.
