Warfield Village Fete Saturday 12th June 12pm - 4pm Thank you to all those who helped in some way with the village fete. Everything went and we took just over a £1000. We have just received a lovely email from Elaine Chalmers-Brown who is the Chairman of the Fete Committee thanking us all and commenting on how well we all work together. She has already asked us to do it all again next year! Part of our vision is to be a blessing to our Community. It was great to be able to chat to people while serving them with their refreshments or while people sat at their tables. We couldn't have done it without all your help.We sold 500 cups of tea, 400 cans and soft drinks, over 600 portions of cake, 140 rounds of sandwiches, 100 meringues, strawberries and cream all supplied by you. See photograph of the team in action here |

Continue to pray for Andy, Uta, Thomas, Samuel, Daniel, Lois and Amélie Buckler Andrew, Uta Buckler and family are based in Mantes-la-Jolie, a town about 40 km. west of Paris, where Andy is Pastor in the French Reformed church.
Mantes is a small town of about 35,000 people, but the parish includes the surrounding villages and is 50 km in diameter. The town is made up of three parts: the old town, an industrial zone and a substantial immigrant housing estate (which is well known for its violence and crime). All Saints really does need YOUR help! There are always plenty of ways you can get involved at All Saints. All of us have gifts that can be used in God's service. If you are not sure how the Lord wants you to be involved have a chat with a member of the Leadership Team (if you are not sure who we are ask one of the welcome team)… For a lot of jobs no experience is needed - just a willing heart! |
