Our Message

All Saints News

Our aim at All Saints, Warfield is to be obedient to Jesus Christ and therefore to make disciples of all nations both where we live and further away. As Christians we are all involved in this work. We are here to serve the Lord whether we are called to go to another country, are employed in this country or serve in our families in our home. The main difference between us and those who used to be called "missionaries", is that they often find themselves serving people with a different language and culture. Therefore they need our support; prayer is vital especially while they are still learning a new language or adapting to a new culture.

All Saints supports various people and groups working in the United Kingdom and abroad. This is an introduction to the work with which all of us at All Saints are involved.

1. In Warfield - All our activities at All Saints are part of our mission to share God's love through all our activities. These include:

2. UK and Ireland - The Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS)

CPAS exists to strengthen churches in the British Isles to teach, pastor and evangelise.

- One of the primary aims of CPAS is to support children and youth leaders, particularly through summer camps and houseparties (Ventures). Falcon camps are run for children who would not otherwise have a holiday.

- CPAS is also involved in Christian publishing, especially for children's and youth work leaders. It is involved with financial support for people in full time Christian ministry and in providing resources, training and pastoral help.

- CPAS is currently concentrating on inner city council estates where the churches are not strong and also in the countryside where there are many problems. It runs courses to assist church leaders in this work.

- CPAS holds the patronage for various churches in England, which means that they have a help churches in selecting ministers.

3. France

France remains one of the hardest places in Europe in which make disciples for Jesus Christ.

We support Andrew and Uta Buckler who work with the French Reformed Church (the main Protestant church in France). They have recently become Crosslinks mission partners.

4. The rest of Europe - European Christian Mission (ECM)

Why Europe? In the forty-five countries of Europe there are over half a billion people and 1000 ethnic groups. Twenty-two of these states have less than 1% evangelical Christians. Europe is one the biggest challenges to the worldwide church.

ECM was founded in 1904 with the vision of presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the people of Europe. Its primary purpose is that of planting and developing churches and encouraging the church in Europe to reach out in mission.

There are 200 workers from 20 different nations working in 20 countries in Europe. Their support comes from around the world.

5. The rest of the World - Crosslinks

Crosslinks is an Evangelical Anglican mission agency committed to bringing God's Word to God's World. Their activities include evangelism and church planting, radio and literature work, training for leadership, teaching young people, environmental care, medical work and community development.

 6. Supporting persecuted Christians - Barnabas Fund

Barnabas Fund supports Christians in many practical ways, usually in Moslem majority countries where being a Christian is difficult. Hundreds of small grants are given to persecuted churches and Christians.

8. Supporting Children in Africa - Falconer Children's Home, Zambia & Bethany Christian Centre, Uganda

We also support a number of other mission partners and agencies through our prayers, and financially:

TEAR Fund - We support the Christian relief and development agency, TEAR Fund.

Christian Aid - We take part in Christian Aid week each year in the Harvest Ride area of Warfield.

We support the work of Operation Christmas Child organised by Samaritan's Purse.

Together with these mission partners we are seeking to tell the world the good news of God’s love in and through our Lord Jesus Christ.
